Students will be trained in preserving, capitalizing on, restoring, and managing forest ecosystems, as well as wildlife and salmon stocks. Students will acquire skills in drafting management plans for forests, wildlife populations, and game stock. This specialization also teaches students the fundamentals of breeding wildlife and salmonid / fish species, as well as the management of hunting grounds.
Perspectives after graduation: Graduates will be able to work in forest districts, forest management planning and logging companies, hunting and fishing associations, the management of protected areas, pheasant and trout farms, forest guards and agencies for environmental conservation, etc.

Students will be trained in how to manage, organize, and operate technical systems related to forestry activities of capitalizing on wood and other non-woody services and products, as well as forest ecosystems. They will also acquire skills and competences in the sustainable management of forest ecosystems and in forestry technical systems planning. The students’ training focuses on the engineering aspect of the forest worker position, and on the development and implementation of technical-economic projects.
Perspectives after graduation: Graduates will be able to work in wood logging and engineering trading companies, forest districs, trading companies specializing in designing and building roads and other types of public and forestry-related infrastructure, in trading companies and institutes specializing in forest management planning, hunting and fishing associations, in the management of protected areas, forest guards and agencies for environmental conservation, in the competent ministry, as well as other fields related to forestry, such as trading companies specializing in construction, civil engineering, terrestrial measurements and cadastre, etc. The Forest Engineering study programme focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills and competences. A significant percentage of our graduates chose to start their own businesses in this field.

The general aim is to grant the bachelor’s degree in Forestry by offering theoretical and practical knowledge related to the management of forests and forest products, cognitive and practical skills in written and oral professional communication, in professional research, and in accessing forestry data.

This programme integrates in the field of Terrestrial Measurements and Cadastre and consists in 4 years of study (240 ECTS credits). Students will acquire skills in terrestrial measurements and cadastre. Graduates will be able to work in various professions in the field of cadastre.
Perspectives after graduation: Graduates will be able to work in specialized companies (in topography, cadastre), in the Urban Planning department of City Halls, county cadastre and real-estate agencies, in land planning institutions and companies, etc. After gaining 2 years of experience in the field, graduates can become certified in performing topo-cadastral work.
